Description
Contrary to popular belief, the black forest cake wasn’t named after the region of Germany, but rather from the type of liquor that’s produced in the region, made from tart cherries. Although these cherries have been consumed for centuries, it wasn’t until the early 1900s that the traditional Black Forest Cake was invented. Our version of this cake has layers of chocolate sponge, fresh chocolate cream and liquored cherries, then topped with fresh cream and cherries. Order yours for a catering event today!
