Description
The Black Forest Cake wasn’t named after the region of Germany, but instead, from the type of liquor that’s produced in the region, that’s produced from tart cherries. Although these cherries have been eaten for centuries, it wasn’t until the early 1900s that what we know as the “Black Forest Cake” was invented.
